Hi, I’m David Bakyelle (Prime)

IT student at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) passionate about building practical solutions, strengthening my fundamentals, and enjoying the process of learning through code.

I like working on projects that improve my problem-solving skills, deepen my understanding of programming concepts, and help me grow into a well-rounded developer.

About me

  • I’m Prime — curious, consistent, and always ready to learn.
  • Currently focused on:
    • Learning something new (daily practice, new concepts, new tools)
    • Having fun coding (building small apps, trying ideas, experimenting)
    • Completing university with strong technical skills and real projects
  • I enjoy: clean logic, structured programming, and turning ideas into working programs.
  • Email: [email protected]

Tech stack

Languages & tools I use

  • Java (OOP, console apps, school projects)
  • C++ (fundamentals, algorithms, performance mindset)
  • Python (automation, scripting, quick prototypes)
  • VB.NET (desktop app development basics)
  • SQL (databases, queries, working with data)
  • HTML (web fundamentals)

What I’m improving right now

  • Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
  • Writing cleaner, more maintainable code
  • Database design + writing better SQL queries
  • Building more complete projects from start → finish

Highlights (a little more about me)

  • I’m building a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and core computer science concepts.
  • I enjoy projects that combine logic + data, especially anything involving databases and real-world information.
  • I’m comfortable learning across different languages, and I like understanding why things work—not just making them work.
  • I value consistency: small progress daily beats rare big progress.

Goals

  • Build a portfolio of projects that show real growth over time
  • Get stronger at backend development + database-driven apps
  • Collaborate more with others (team projects, pair programming, open-source contributions)
  • Become job-ready with solid fundamentals and practical experience

Let’s connect
