EvolveHub provides a workspace for people who need to manage multiple digital agents. These agents work together to solve problems or complete tasks. You can observe how these agents interact and evolve within the system. This tool simplifies the way you organize collaborative workflows. You do not need experience in coding to use this application for your projects.
Before you install EvolveHub, check that your computer meets these basic needs:
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- 8 GB of internal memory (RAM)
- 500 MB of free storage space
- A stable internet connection for agent communication
- The Java Runtime Environment (Version 17 or higher)
Verify that your Java version matches the requirement. You can check this by typing "java -version" into your Command Prompt. Download the latest version of Java from the official Oracle website if your machine lacks it.
Visit the link above to reach the repository page. Look for the section labeled Releases on the right side of the screen. Click the link that shows the most recent version number. Scroll down to the Assets area. Select the file ending in .exe to start your download. Your browser might ask if you want to keep the file. Choose Keep because this file is safe for use on Windows systems.
Locate the file you just downloaded in your Downloads folder. Double-click the file to start the installer. A security prompt might appear on your screen. Select Run anyway to proceed. Follow the instructions that appear in the setup window. The installer suggests a default folder for your files. Accept this suggestion to ensure the program runs correctly. Wait for the green progress bar to fill completely. Click Finish to close the installer after the setup completes.
Open the EvolveHub icon on your desktop to launch the tool. The main screen shows your active projects. Use the New Project button to create your first workspace. You can assign specific roles to agents within this area.
The dashboard displays three main regions:
- The Project Tree: Shows your existing folders and agent groups.
- The Agent Canvas: Allows you to drag and drop different agents into tasks.
- The Status Log: Lists the actions your agents perform in real time.
You can save your current project by going to the File menu and clicking Save. The application stores your data locally on your machine.
Agents function as individual workers in EvolveHub. Each agent possesses a specific skill set. To add an agent, click the Add Agent button in the toolbar. Select a profile that fits the goal of your mission. You define the behavior for each agent by adjusting the settings in the properties menu.
You can force agents to collaborate by connecting them with links on the canvas. Drag a line from one agent to another to establish a communication channel. The system highlights the link in blue once the agents start sharing data. If the agents conflict, the Log section will show an error message in red.
- Connection Errors: Check your firewall settings. EvolveHub requires access to local network ports to coordinate agents.
- Slow Performance: Close other demanding programs like web browsers or video players while using the software.
- Empty Canvas: Refresh the project view if your agent icons do not appear after loading a save file.
- Update Checks: The software automatically checks for updates each time you start it. Install these updates to fix bugs and improve functionality.
We use specific terms in this software to keep the logic clear. Understanding these terms helps you build better agent structures.
- AgentScope: The underlying framework that allows digital agents to think and act.
- Node: A single point on your canvas that represents one agent.
- Collaboration Chain: A sequence of tasks where one agent passes work to another.
- State: The current point of progress for an agent within the system.
Design your workflow in small steps. Test one agent before you add a second one to the canvas. This process makes it easier to track errors if something goes wrong. Keep your agent names simple and descriptive so you can identify them quickly in the Log window. Save your work often to ensure that you do not lose progress during a power disruption.
