👋 Welcome to my GitHub page! I'm Yixi.

🎓 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from York University and am currently pursuing a thesis-based Master’s in Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo. 📈 My journey into data engineering began during my first co-op with the Data Automation team at Blackberry, where I was introduced to cloud technologies and big data experience that helped define my career goals. 🌍 Check out my personal [Portfolio](https://frankzhaoyx.github.io/). 🏋️ Outside of tech, I’m an amateur CrossFit athlete. Programming Languages

• Primary Language: Python – Skilled in data analysis, visualization, ETL processes, and implementing machine learning libraries. JAVA – Experienced in data transformation, ETL, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• SQL: Proficient in writing complex analytical queries, including window functions, subqueries, and joins.
• BASH: Familiar with Git commands and basic Unix systems.
• Web Development: Knowledgeable in the “classic” web stack (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, JAVAEE).
