Overview

DBM Mods is a community driven open source project meant to modify, extend, and improve Discord Bot Maker.

This repository is not meant to be downloaded or cloned. Please follow the installation guide below.

Installing DBM Mods

DBM Mods requires Discord Bot Maker Beta to work properly (Installation Guide)

1. Close Discord Bot Maker
2. Open your Steam Library and find Discord Bot Maker in the Software section
3. Right-click it, then click Properties → Local Files → Browse Local Files
4. Open the "actions" folder
5. Download the DBM Mods files
   (There is no need to clone or download the Git repository)
6. Extract the contents of the .zip file into Discord Bot Maker's actions folder
   (Overwrite existing files if asked)

IMPORTANT: Repeat steps 4 to 6 in your bot project's "actions" folder

Installing DBM Beta

Before starting: Switching to Beta with encryption enabled will cause you to lose all of your bot's data. Disable encryption and make backups of your bot project's "data" folder before continuing.

1. Close Discord Bot Maker
2. Open your Steam Library and find Discord Bot Maker in the Software section
3. Right-click it, then click Properties → Beta
4. Select "beta" in the drop-down menu
   (No key is required)
5. Steam should now update DBM
   (Repeat these steps if it doesn't)
