Managing large open source projects is not easy! Feature requests, discussions easily get lost when filed along issues/questions.

We have established an official RFC (request for comments) process, where significant changes to NativeScript (core, tooling etc.) will be posted and discussed. This allows you to be part of the conversation, and shape the future of NativeScript!

The details of the RFC process are described in detail, in the rfcs repository itself.

tl;dr about RFCs:

• Issues in the NativeScript/rfcs repo are for high-level discussions prior to formulating an RFC
• Pull Requests in the NativeScript/rfcs repo are for Pending RFCs
• Everyone is welcome to start discussions/rfcs - however they will be held to a high standard and off-topic will be closed.
