I'm Anas β a software engineer who's been building things for the past 4+ years. Currently working at Karage, where I built an entire POS system for iPadOS from scratch (yeah, that was fun).
I bounce between iOS, web, and backend development. Jack of all trades? Maybe. But I like to think I do each one pretty well.
On the daily, I work with:
- Swift & SwiftUI for iOS/iPadOS apps
- Next.js for web dashboards
- ASP.NET for backend microservices
- AI tools to work smarter (not just harder)
Right now I'm really into:
- Building clean, maintainable code that won't make future-me cry
- Exploring how AI can actually make development better (not just generate sloppy code)
- Reading through open source projects to see how other people solve problems
- macOS workflows β I'm a Raycast power user and kind of obsessed with optimizing everything
I'm not a fan of quick fixes that break in a month. When I write code, I'm thinking about the person who'll maintain it later (usually me, let's be honest). Code reviews are my thing β I actually enjoy them. Catching patterns, improving architecture, making sure we're not building tech debt castles.
When I'm not coding:
- Calisthenics & stretching (gotta balance the desk life)
- Documenting systems and life (yes, I'm that organized)
- Spending time with family
- Diving into open source projects to see what's out there
Always down to chat about iOS development, AI-assisted workflows, macOS productivity, or just engineering in general.
