#### Note on newer Debian releases using MariaDB

From Debian 10.0 ('buster') the migration to MariaDB has removed `mysql_config` altogether which breaks
the build of this package. The following command is needed to install a compatibility package that
restores the needed file:

`sudo apt install libmariadb-dev-compat`
