π Iβm currently working on
Etymolotree β a tidy etymology website with a clear data model, searchable UI and tools to curate and share word histories. I am improving the backend, data ingestion and UX, and building small, well-tested utilities for reproducible language experiments.
I am also focused on keeping my learning progression and GitHub activity consistent and meaningful; coding, committing and pushing to repos every day (with some well placed cheat days π)
π± Iβm currently learning
NLP basics, production Python engineering, TypeScript and modern frontend toolchains, and robust data modelling and reproducible workflows using containers and CI. Machine Learning basics, and Java syntax also :)
π¬ Ask me about
Mathematics, algorithmic thinking, Python, computational linguistics or Word Etymologies!
β‘ Fun fact
I tutored maths at A-level, which taught me how to explain tricky ideas simply, and I enjoy building small applications, such as Discord bots, to keep development enjoyable.
