Now playing

I build products that have to survive the living room.

Senior Frontend Engineer and Connected TV Lead. Ten years of shipping web, mobile, and Smart TV applications - including apps built from scratch for Roku, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, and other HTML5 TV platforms. That includes 2017-era hardware, Tizen 3, and devices that do not forgive a careless bundle.

The interesting work is rarely the happy path. It is playback on constrained SoCs, hosted Tizen/webOS shells that keep native APIs without store-review lock-in, polyfills, and a modern React/TypeScript stack that still boots on a TV from almost a decade ago.

I lead teams the same way I ship players: architecture first, then the ugly platform details, then production.

Featured titles

What I actually shipped
TV apps from scratch Connected TV applications for Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Roku, and other HTML5 TV platforms - devices dating back to 2017.
Playback on legacy TVs Platform-specific playback and performance work inside player codebases, including HLS.js, to keep Tizen 3 and other limited hardware alive.
Hosted Tizen & webOS Hosted application architecture: native device APIs, updates that skip lengthy TV app-store review cycles.
Samsung AVPlay layer Custom AVPlay-based player on Samsung TVs - better stability on older, weaker devices.
Modern stack, old silicon React + TypeScript in production, with compatibility forks and polyfills where the hardware demands it.
OTT end to end HLS, MPEG-DASH, CMAF, DRM, ads, live and VOD, device APIs - from manifest to first frame.
