Spearch is an improved search bar for Firefox.

Installing

make xpi

Then, in Firefox:

Firefox > Add-ons > Tools for add-ons > Install add-on from file

Select /path/to/spearch/spearch.xpi

Using

• my search will search for my search using the default engine
• !youtube my search will search for my search using the engine named youtube
• !_ will remove the current engine
• shift + e will edit the engine
• shift + w will move one word forward
• shift + b will move one word backward

Updating the engines

Forefox > Add-ons > Spearch > Preferences
