The Torch is built for speed, reliability, and editorial flexibility. Technical decisions are owned by the Technology & Product team, led by the Technical Director
The Torch is not an open-source project in the conventional sense. Code contributions are managed through the Technology & Product team.
If you're a Babcock student interested in joining:
- For editorial roles (writing, editing, reporting): reach out to [email protected]
- For technical roles (development, design): contact us at [email protected]
The Babcock Torch operates under a constitutionally entrenched editorial independence policy. Coverage decisions, editorial positions, and publishing choices are made by the Editorial Board, free from external direction. This code repository is maintained in service of that mission.
