maven compiler needed to be updated to 1.7 to run in Jenkins. Didn't seem to mess up any other tests. The rest of the changes to maven surefire plugin are necessary for parallel testing. After doublechecking, this will run 11 threads if loaded into CI/CD pipeline. 1 each for local and single, 3 for parallel, and 6 for suite (2 tests w/ 3 threads each)
