What is your suggestion?

Have the workspace agent look for open ports and report which ports are available.

Why do you want this feature?

So we can make the application URLs feature a little more helpful by avoiding connections. It may also be nice to be able to list them somewhere for the user.

Are there any workarounds to get this functionality today?

Manually running commands on the workspace or scanning ports.

Are you interested in submitting a PR for this?

Yes but not soon.
