Tagging subscribers to this area: @dotnet/area-system-io Issue DetailsI looked up the documentation (document link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.io.file.exists?view=net-7.0) and it states that "If path describes a directory, this method returns false." Additionally, after testing it myself, I found that the comment here should be corrected.
