#6341 did a major version bump of the platform interface to delete the default method channel implementation, but I never updated the other packages in the plugin to allow using it. For the implementation packages, it's a pure no-op. The app-facing package had tests that relied on the
buildViewimplementation of the default implementation; this updates the tests to use a fake instead so that those tests pass even without a real default implementation.Pre-launch Checklist
