Francis Okafor is a highly motivated and passionate software engineer with about 4 years of experience in the industry. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he has a strong understanding of programming languages and technologies such as Golang, Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C, ReactJS, VueJS, NodeJS, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, MongoDB, MySql and a passion for developing innovative solutions.
Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of projects including WeChat mini-apps, Chrome Extension, Desktop Applications, Web Applications, ERP (enterprise resource planning), image recognition software and machine learning algorithms. He is skilled in software and database design, team management and is always eager to learn and stay up to date with the latest developments in this field. He is a team player, who values collaboration and communication. He is also able to work independently and in as part of a team and is always willing to lend a hand to colleagues.
During leisure, Francis enjoys playing chess, football (soccer) and table tennis. He loves languages and is very fluent in Chinese, English, Igbo and possesses an intermediate proficiency in German. He plays over 12 musical instruments including Western, Chinese and African instruments. He is passionate about Technology Transfer and exchange between Africa and other Continents and always excited to work on challenging projects and be part of a dynamic team.
