@gassmoeller and @bobmyhill, this is ready for a review. Much of the suggested documentation improvements provided by @bobmyhill in #7094 should be incorporated into this cookbook. Otherwise, I'd appreciate any general feedback. I'd also like to get your take on renaming |

@gassmoeller and @bobmyhill, this is ready for a read. It is consistent with the current #7094. It fails checks because #7094 is not yet merged (files not found). I've tested this locally and it passes. |

Summary
This cookbook is an improved version of the
phase_transition_kineticscookbook. It introduces the new reaction kinetic framework developed in #7094, but doesn't cover any new concepts. I would argue that it should replace thephase_transition_kineticscookbook.
