Yup Yup... The unicode fire was my first thought as well. But I did not like the look. And I enjoyed the challenge of putting a particle system into the 100+ Bytes. I made a new branch https://github.com/homecoded/demo/tree/fire-particle-system with an improved version of the particle system (transparent particles) 1018 Bytes. Now, the unicode version looks worse (IMHO) but weighs a LOT less so we could fit in even more stuff (stars?). On the other hand, a particle system is quite nice as well. I don't know what to do. |
