indiveloper

Solo maker in Korea. I build small products, use them, break them, and write about what actually happened.

I work with AI every day, but I am not trying to be an AI guru. Most of my notes are about the less glamorous parts: choosing what not to build, keeping agents consistent, finding users, fixing wrong assumptions, and shipping again.

Building now

A free native Mac utility for windows and workspaces, local Markdown memos, long-page capture, presentation and product-demo recording, Blackout Mode, and Keep Awake.

No account, paywall, advertising, app telemetry, built-in AI model, voice transcription, or AI-work monitoring. The current Universal build supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

A travel product for exploring food, menus, and local experiences more easily.

What I am figuring out

  • Building useful products with Codex, Claude, and other AI tools
  • Harness engineering and keeping long-running agent work internally consistent
  • AX and how AI changes small product teams
  • Solo development, distribution, and the awkward work after shipping
  • Product judgment: what belongs, what should be removed, and what users actually keep

This is a build log, not a lecture series. I share the decisions that worked, the ones that did not, and the questions I still have.
