Truffle (and Ganache) were sunset on Feb 26, 2024 and the recommendation is to migrate to Hardhat (https://consensys.io/blog/consensys-announces-the-sunset-of-truffle-and-ganache-and-new-hardhat). From the Brownie docs and README: Brownie is no longer actively maintained. Future releases may come sporadically - or never at all. Check out Ape Framework for all your python Ethereum development needs. (https://eth-brownie.readthedocs.io/en/stable/). I cannot vouch for Ape Framework as I've never used it, simply going with the recommendation given by the Brownie devs.
