Agree - I don't think we should treat jupyter.org as the source of truth or it'll become really big. I like the idea of linking to the place with the complete set of information |

Some groups like JMS are not listed in
about.html. Since these do not have a public meeting on the calendar, nor a repository it is difficult to know much about them. I am suggesting linking the leadership directory to allow for better discovery of groups which are not currently inabout.html. Alternatives include mirroring it manually or using some single source of truth json to render the info on two pages but I think it is not a good idea as these have different aims.
