I built this repository to show how far you can push Excel as a full analytics tool — from cleaning messy data to building interactive dashboards that tell a clear story and help guide real-world decisions.
These projects aren’t just exercises. They reflect my genuine curiosity and passion for solving problems across different industries, while demonstrating my growing expertise in making data meaningful and actionable.
I’ve organized my projects by industry and domain, including:
- 👔 Employment & Jobs — Analyzing global trends in tech and data jobs
- 🏥 Healthcare — Patient metrics and hospital performance insights
- 💰 Finance — Budgeting, expense tracking, and financial ratios
- 📈 Investment — Portfolio tracking and risk analysis
- 🗳️ Politics & Elections — Voter turnout and election trends
- 🚗 Transportation — Traffic flow and public transit analysis
- 🌾 Agriculture — Crop yields, seasonal trends, and pricing
- 🛍️ Consumer Behavior — Retail sales, essentials, and services
- 🏠 Real Estate — Housing market and rental comparisons
- 📺 Media — Audience stats and content performance
- ⚡ Utilities — Energy and water usage trends
- 🏨 Hospitality & Tourism — Travel trends and occupancy rates
- 🏗️ Construction — Project monitoring and cost tracking
- 🔋 Energy — Generation, consumption, and sources mix
Each folder contains data, cleaned and transformed within Excel, plus dashboards and insights that highlight key takeaways.
While I admire and use tools like Python and Power BI, I believe Excel remains the most accessible and versatile analytics tool in business worldwide. I wanted to challenge myself to see how far I could push it — and I’m proud of the results.
Using Excel, I’ve learned to:
- Clean and reshape complex, messy datasets
- Build dashboards that are intuitive and ready for decision-makers
- Tell compelling data stories without ever leaving a spreadsheet
