Can you link the issue you are referring to? Currently I'm the only developer and due to some private reason I get almost no develop time for ksnip, that's why we are behind all the new feature requests and bugs. |

Hi, It's been a while now and I'm just checking in to see if there's anything I can do to assist? If it would help I can do a 30 to 60 second screencast that shows an example of the problem and how to make it happen. The native resolution on laptop screen is extremely high it is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3600 by 2,400. Because this makes the screen so small Windows defaults to a zoom level of 300% for the entire desktop. When you right click on desktop and go to video settings you can see that the zoom ratio is set to 300 and the word default is next to it. If you change it to anything else it doesn't look right. I have another laptop with a smaller different shaped screen and it has no problem running Ksnip. To solve the problem I went out and purchased a program called snagit only I have only a single license and multiple computers. Snagit can capture the screen and bring it into its editor just like ksnip is supposed to. Is there any way for me to collect some debug output to submit? |

Hi,
I imagine this question has been asked before, only it doesn't seem that anybody has been able to figure out how to fix it.
I have a laptop with a 4K screen with a scaling of 300% on Windows 10 and every time I try and use ksnip to capture a rectangle it automatically zooms the screen in so far you can't see the screen anymore. OK to do other types of captures.
Program looks promising. Will this ever get fixed, or do I need a commercial app? Is there a similar app to this that works?
This problem seems to have been going on for over a year now.
Anyone working on this?
