Describe the bug
The output of terminal command ksnip --version seems to have two problems:
The first two lines are "Unable to find any translation files for ksnip." and "Unable to find any translation files for kImageAnnotator." although ksnip has been properly installed, and translation files are in "/usr/share/ksnip/translations".
The second problem probably related to this is that it's not possible to grab the ksnip version here, i.e. we can only see it, but we can neither use a command like grep "Version:" nor direct it to a file (e.g. ksnip --version > "/tmp/kversion.txt" for the same purpose.
Desktop:
OS: Linux
Distribution: KDE neon
Window System: X11
ksnip version: 1.8.1
Installed: ksnip-1.8.2.deb
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
The first is an issue of the deb package, we have a general problem with translations there that need to be addressed #359
The second problem is due to the fact that qInfo prints by default to strerr instead of strout as it looks like. I'm looking into it if I can fix that quickly.
