This pull request updates the project's documentation to clarify the status of Windows support and provide guidance for Windows users.

Documentation updates regarding Windows support:

  • Updated the README.md to direct Windows users to a new docs/windows.md file for instructions, and clarified that contributions towards native Windows support are not planned.
  • Added a new docs/windows.md file explaining that native Windows support is not being pursued, and providing instructions for using Kubebuilder on Windows via WSL2 and Docker Desktop, with links to relevant official documentation.

Hi @vitorfloriano. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes-sigs/prow repository.

Hi @vitorfloriano

It has some space in the end of lines, see that is failing in : Trailing / Check Trailing (pull_request)

Just run make remove-spaces and it will be solved

The docs now inform users about the plans not to pursue
native Windows support, and also provides instructions
on how to set up Docker and kind on WSL2 for development
on a Windows machine.
