This involved end-to-end design and implementation, leveraging a robust stack of technologies including Kubernetes, Flink, Kafka, Cassandra, Cruise Control, ELK, AWS, Jenkins, Redis, MongoDB, Fastify, Express, Node.js, React. • Designed and implemented a scalable architecture for real-time payments, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration and Custom Resource Definitions (CRD) for managing resources across cloud computing. Integrated Apache APISIX for API management and routing. • Developed a peer-to-peer architecture to reduce single points of failure. Implemented advanced monitoring and alerting using KubeShark, Prometheus, Grafana and ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to ensure high availability and reliability of the payment system. • Integrated gRPC for secure and efficient inter-service communication, enhancing data integrity and reducing overhead in the real-time payment infrastructure. • Implemented serialization and encryption techniques to secure message data.
