Problem

Follow up #25395 the link above is empty and needs to be written

  • write an index that has an overview
  • move/write some examples that cover the use of axis objects

@hasanrashid we don't assign issues, but if you know enough about the Axis API, please feel free to have a go at this.

OTOH, I think the Axis API is pretty hard, and I haven't done this yet because I hadn't wrapped my head around the best way to do it yet. All of which to say, this isn't a trivial task, but certainly have a try at it if you have the background!
