These changes alter the footer in order to maintain design consistency with other Microsoft websites (such as microsoft.com). The footer is also responsive.

As noted in this issue, the design of microsoft.github.io should be more consistent with and similar to other Microsoft websites (such as microsoft.com and windows.com). The changes in these request attempt to follow the same color schemes and design principles found at microsoft.com.
