A simple default algorithm implementation for the EDN Algorithm Service Platform.
This algorithm provides a standard response for any input data. It's designed to be used as a template or placeholder in the EDN platform.
The algorithm accepts any valid JSON input:
- JSON objects (dictionaries)
- Arrays
- Strings
- Numbers
- Boolean values
The algorithm returns a standard JSON response with the following structure:
{
"algorithm": {
"name": "default-algorithm",
"version": "1.0.0"
},
"status": "success",
"message": "Default algorithm execution completed successfully",
"data": {
"received_input": "[Original input data or truncated version]",
"default_output": {
"value": 42,
"description": "This is a default response"
}
}
}- Accuracy: N/A (returns constant output)
- Processing Time: < 1ms for most inputs
- Memory Usage: Minimal
This algorithm can be used as a placeholder or for testing the EDN platform infrastructure.
- Python 3.9
- Basic Python libraries (pathlib, json)
