No clue, but it's similar to the http client.

Describe the solution you'd like:

Ability to choose it to export using GRPC but with a custom client. As currently only tonic can be used.

Considered Alternatives

Not sure there is an alternative. Is there one? Is it possible to define your own exporter entirely? And even if it does, might mean a lot of code duplication?

Additional Context

Setups not making use of the hyperium ecosystem would need to pull this in as an extra dependency tree, without having a direct use of it.
