I have the following bash alias for generating changelogs:
alias changelog='git log --no-merges --format=" * %s"'A $ changelog old...new will generate the logs between old and new with each log being suffixed with *.

As the title says.
This is my first time making a release in a branch. I cobbled the changlog together by pulling out lines from git log. If there's a better way to do that, please let me know.
