Couple of small comments from me - feel free to ignore any/all of them!

• Maybe it should also mention that this is the same as the 'Terminal' you see if you boot directly to the command-line rather than booting to the desktop? (i.e. there's no need to startx just so you can run LXTerminal). Or maybe that's obvious and so doesn't need explaining.
• I'm not sure if this is the right place to start talking about shell scripts, maybe that should be a separate page?
• Maybe various parts of this document should be moved to https://github.com/raspberrypi/documentation/blob/master/linux/usage/root.md or https://github.com/raspberrypi/documentation/blob/master/linux/software/apt.md or https://github.com/raspberrypi/documentation/blob/master/linux/usage/commands.md and replaced with links as appropriate?
• the mv command can be used with arguments of FILE DIR or FILE FILE or DIR DIR, and the cp command can be used with arguments of FILE DIR or FILE FILE or -r DIR DIR; which may be worth mentioning?

• Yep, I think that'd be a useful addition to make, I think the best strategy is to assume that very little is obvious!
• I think this is a good suggestion, would it be better placed in the Linux usage section?
• Yep, this was something I wasn't sure about as I was writing this, I could copy across the relevant bits of what I've done to those files and then just put links at the bottom of the doc. One thing I feel is missing from the Linux usage section is a full page on permissions (which could arguably encompass the root page)
• Agree with this as well, I'll flesh out those sections when I copy them across to the relevant page.
