As far as I know only Azure / OpenAI supports reasoning API right now. This expands the chat completion streaming capabilities so we can use it more holistically with other providers, and still get a good experience.
I haven't tested this with MCP at all, but it does work with
bash&apply_patch.@bolinfest please let us know if this is interesting upstream - or if you're already working on a better version. May make sense to clean up and make generally available.
