I recently reported that it didn't work at all on last macOS and safari 26. Did we fix anything since?

I don't know - have you tested this PR? If it doesn't work for you, please update #10609 with details and we will have to consider this PR blocked

Still broken with Safari 26 on macOS 15.6.1, see:

Interesting, for me on macOS 26 it works fine. I'm on Version 26.0 (21622.1.22.11.14), which one are you on @abey79?
