Oh, am I concluding right that while version 1.15.3 might be available on the conda "defaults" channel, still inter-dependencies between package versions might still cause a downgrade, as we can see here?
Version 1.13.0 however has this scipy fix, so probably everything still goes right. 🤞

Yes, it's a Satisfiability problem. Conda tries to find the versions which satisfy all the packages lower and upper bounds for their dependencies.

What does this implement/fix? Explain your changes.
Scipy 1.15.3 is now available on the conda defaults channel, so the constraint is not necessary anymore.
