Proposed changes

Adding a new Source doc for the new Segment Shopify Source. This Integration has been built internally and loads some JS code into a Shopify store. It then maps Shopify analytics events to Segment events.

Merge timing

The Source code needs to be approved by Shopify before this documentation can be made live. However perhaps we could register the Source in the Partner Portal and deploy the docs but not link to them yet?

Hi @forstisabella - just checking what the next steps are. Is there anything else you need from me before this can be deployed (but kept hidden)?

@joe-ayoub-segment I am working on a more comprehensive review: once that's complete (and you get the approval from @tcgilbert,) we can merge!

hi @forstisabella can we deploy this live, but keep it unlinked please?
I'd like to be able to see the doc in Production without Google indexing it or customers finding it. Is this possible?

Sure, we can do that! The hidden: true attribute will make this only accessible via direct link (segment.com/docs/connections/sources/catalog/libraries/website/shopify/).

If you could go through and accept/reject all remaining comments, we'll be good to merge this!

you can also build the site locally following instructions in the devguide: https://github.com/segmentio/segment-docs/blob/develop/devguide.md

Hi @forstisabella I've accepted all the suggestions. Anything else to be done before this can be deployed?

Nope, nothing else needs to be done to deploy it! I'll merge the PR today, but before this goes into public beta and beyond we'll need to make some updates to the id/other frontmatter!
