More details on the official website.

Installation

The easiest option is the official store, with automatic updates.

Important

Regarding Chrome "Not Trusted" warning: This is a standard Google policy for new developers. It does NOT mean the extension is unsafe. As an open-source project, our code is transparent and can be audited anytime.

Chrome Firefox Edge Github

Note

Edge Add-ons delay: Microsoft's manual review takes up to 7 business days, which causes the Edge Add-ons version to lag behind. To get immediate updates and bug fixes, we highly recommend installing the version from the Chrome Web Store (fully compatible with Edge).

Manual installation

For the latest version:

  1. Download the latest .zip from the Releases Page.
  2. Unzip the file.
  3. Open edge://extensions in your browser.
  4. Enable Developer Mode.
  5. Click Load Unpacked and select the unzipped folder.

  • Uploaded wallpapers saved in IndexedDB.
  • External requests only for required features (weather, wallpapers, favicons, optional suggestions).

See the privacy policy for details.

Prefer a different design?

This extension is also available in MD3: Expressive New Tab — the same powerful new tab experience, but inspired by Google's Material Design 3 with a vibrant, expressive aesthetic.

Both projects share the same codebase and identical features. The only difference is the visual design language. Choose based on your personal preference:

  • Fluent New Tab (current) — Minimal, clean design inspired by Microsoft's Fluent Design System
  • MD3: Expressive New Tab — Bold, colorful design inspired by Google's Material Design 3
