First and foremost, thank you for maintaining the "standard" package. It has been incredibly useful in my projects, and I appreciate the hard work you have put into it.
I persuaded my team to use this package because it has been gaining more popularity in recent years and many companies are using it. It ended the arguments about coding style/stadard in my team, which really saved my life. The consistent style enforced by "standard" has improved our code quality and team collaboration significantly.
As a fan of this package, I'd like to propose an enhancement to the README file by adding an image that showcases the download trends over recent years. New users often look for signs of a package's reliability and popularity. A visual representation of the download trends can serve as a indicator of the package's trustworthiness and active use. Also, highlighting the package's growth can foster a stronger sense of community and encourage more contributions.
I have already added a dynamic image that displays the download trends. Thank you for considering my proposal.
