This is a meta-issue pointing to all the pending things that should be finished before the Symfony 2.6 launch. This launch is very special because complying with the new Symfony Best Practices requires some minor changes that could be included as part of the Symfony 2.6 launch.

  • The Milestone 1.0 lists all the issues that we want to fix before the first stable release of the installer.

  • To simplify the work of the new Symfony installer, symfony.com should provide symfony-latest.zip and symfony-latest.tgz files pointing to the most recent stable version (Fabien is working on this).
