Hello there!

First time contributor to Symfony here. Although I have carefully read the guidelines, please forgive me if I have overlooked something in there.

I have stumbled upon the exclude parameter for the routing config by chance, but it took me a minute to figure out how it works. I thought we could improve the documentation on that aspect.

The feature has been introduced in Symfony 4.4.
Here is the issue where I found the information that I was looking for.

So here goes nothing 😄

Camille thanks for this contribution. You did it great ... but sadly, we missed your Pull Request and meanwhile other Pull Requests were merged to document the exclude option (see https://symfony.com/doc/current/routing.html#route-groups-and-prefixes). I apologize for this and I hope you can contribute new contents in the future so we can merge them. Thanks!
