Looking at the activity of these 2 translations, I think it's safe to say that they aren't up to date with the documentation.

@chrisbujok and @gitnacho please tell me if this isn't true. I have a hard time understanding your issues and commit messages to really tell if this is true.

Regarding the Spanish translation, this comment posted by the main translator says: "this project is no longer updated, but most of its contents are probably valid". So it's safe to assume that the Spanish translation is no longer active.

As you know, I'm not in favor of translations, so that's great to see obsolete translations being removed from the list. That being said, don't you think it might make sense to list those obsolete translations somewhere so that is someone wants to take over (I'm not encouraging anyone to do so of course), he does not need to start from scratch again (this might not be a good idea either as trying to find out the diff would be difficult as well?)

That's probably a good idea. The only issue I see is that we then would check from time to time if the repositories in this list are still available.

@xabbuh we have that same "problem" right now with checking if these are actively maintained.

I like the idea. We also need to re-word this whole section since we're not really recommending translations anymore. Also, I think if people do choose to do translations, I'd want them to focus on only the book. That changes less, and it would give them half a chance to have some high quality things.
