This project aims to develop an advanced web-based telemedicine platform that enables efficient and intelligent interaction between patients and doctors through a digital consultation system. The application allows patients to input symptoms before consultation, where an integrated smart triage system analyzes severity levels and prioritizes cases accordingly. Based on the symptoms, the system can also assist in routing patients to appropriate specialists.
The platform provides a mock video consultation interface enhanced with real-time chat, consultation timers, and doctor note-taking capabilities. During the consultation, a clinical decision support system assists doctors by suggesting possible conditions, highlighting critical symptoms, and recommending further actions. The prescription module enables doctors to generate structured prescriptions with medicine suggestions, dosage templates, and downloadable PDF reports.
Additionally, the system maintains a comprehensive patient health record, including consultation history, uploaded medical reports, and a timeline view of treatments. Features such as appointment scheduling, emergency escalation, smart notifications, and follow-up recommendations ensure continuous and effective patient care. A monitoring and analytics dashboard provides insights into patient health trends and doctor performance.
The system is built using modern web technologies such as React.js for the frontend and Node.js with Express for backend services, ensuring a scalable and responsive design. Overall, this project demonstrates the implementation of a real-world healthcare solution that integrates consultation, decision support, and patient management into a unified intelligent platform.
