Thank you for creating and sharing terraform-docs. It has been a valuable tool for many in the Terraform community, myself included.
I have noticed that there has been limited recent activity on the project. I wanted to check in to see whether you are still interested in maintaining it.
If active maintenance is no longer feasible, would you be open to discussing a transfer of stewardship? One possible option could be to transfer the project to an established organisation such as Geek.Zone, or perhaps even the Linux Foundation. Evolving the project into tofu-docs might fit particularly well within the Linux Foundation ecosystem, especially in light of the Terraform fork.
This is simply an offer to help ensure the tool remains available and actively maintained for those who rely on it.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Kind regards,
James

Hi James,
thanks for your message and sorry for the low activity here. Due to personal reasons I don’t have any time working on terraform-docs at the moment. (I still have the hope that this will change soon though.) I guess for the other maintainers it is the same right now.
If anyone is interested in helping with it, please reach out to one of the org owners, so you can be added to the org.
I guess renaming/transfering could make sense, but would also require some effort (all the renaming, also for all the users of it🙈). So I‘m not sure it’s worth it.
Renaming is just an idea, though I suspect that the terraform-->opentofu rename took more effort. I think that having this project under a larger umbrella would be tremendously benificial, regardless of the name.
