What is God Made a Girl
I think reading any sort of prose or poetry is like digging through the rubble for glints of gold, excavating and exhuming an aftermath to scavenge the remains of something “more.” Something that depicts the human experience in a profound, improved way - placing precedence on emotion rather than just reality.
That’s what I try to do when I write. So, I hope that as you read, you are able to dig through my ineptitude and find an archaic fossil of a phrase that resonates with you. I hope that you are able to blow the dust off of it and cradle it in your hands, if only for a second.
