Lokesh Bathija shared thisJust Plain Beautiful Lyrics. I had the opportunity to be involved in the production of "Tum Nahi Ho" alongside my friends Kunal Sharma, Ritesh Ranjan, Rohit, and Sandeep Jha and it was a total eye-opener for me! Seeing the sheer number of moving parts and dedication required for even a 'basic' track was incredible. So proud of what #Groovly has accomplished. Give it a listen!Lokesh Bathija shared thisSome posts take a day or a week to write. This one has taken me 20 years since college to find its way here today. I have always believed that one should have at least one burning passion except for our main hustle. It gives an anchoring beyond what we call work. That for me, has always been poetry, music and visual arts. In college, I wrote, I sang, I composed, I performed, with hunger, with innocence, with that reckless abandon youth gifts you. Then life & my entrepreneurial dream took over. But, music & writing always stayed - A place where I could go to make sense of the world. A way to stay in touch with who I am beneath everything else. I knew I had to get back to it & it has been a point of endless discussions with Ritesh Ranjan, my partner and an amazing musician himself, but the grind of entrepreneurship & Flipspaces always took precedence. And then I met Rohit Sharma and other friends with whom we ideated about - Too many voices that go silent because the world calls their dream impractical. - Too many guitars end up gathering dust because “music is not a career”. - Too many poems that remain unfinished. That is when we decided to start Groovly https://lnkd.in/dYNbd_Mi. Groovly is a community & a belief; A belief that a college dream in music or arts deserves the same respect as a career in medical or engineering. A belief that the dreams we carry in college, in hostel corridors, in late-night jamming sessions, do not have to fade away. It is specially relevant in the creator’s era where tech & AI is rewriting the rules of creating & monetising music & arts. Groovly is a platform for those voices. A space for indie artists to create, collaborate & find the launchpad they deserve. A place where talent is not judged by where you come from, who you know or what resources you have. Last week, I recorded & released a song for Groovly with Divya Prakash Dubey and Rohit Sharma & with help from Sandeep Jha and Ritesh Ranjan. I composed it. I sang it. It humbled me more than I expected. This song is a small offering to that community. The vision is to make a million artists who will; - Dust their guitar and start strumming again - Rummage through that old diary and restart their unfinished poem - Just take their phone camera and go shooting that crazy movie idea If you dig deeper into the poem, the song captures the artist's dilemma aptly. Please join the Groovly Instagram community. PS- Thanks to Neha Khandelwal, Nitin Jain, Lokesh Bathija, Vikash Anand , Ankur Muchhal, Mrinal Sharma who have always been there. Grateful to the IITB2K batch for constant support & a heartfelt thanks to Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay for nurturing innovation as well as creativity. https://lnkd.in/dxc2gZ2ATum Nahi Ho | A Groovly Jams Original ft. Lokesh Bathija shared this𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓? 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐦 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡 (—) This little punctuation mark, the em dash (—), has quietly become an AI giveaway. Emails. Blogs. Websites. News articles. It is showing up everywhere lately. And in most cases, it is not the writer’s signature style, it is ChatGPT’s. I first noticed it while doing prompt engineering and reviewing my older chats with ChatGPT. Almost every reply had at least one (—), if not more. Then I started noticing the same thing in polished posts or emails that did not sound like the person I knew. That is when the pattern clicked, and ChatGPT’s presence became obvious 🙂 The surprising part is how few people catch it. Even fewer tell ChatGPT to match their tone or avoid certain characters. A quick 2 minute proofread would do the trick. But often, people just 𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭. And this really matters. I have seen appreciation emails from senior leaders that were clearly drafted by ChatGPT. The message is positive, but the employees receiving it often feel a small disconnect. 𝐈𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥? The intention is great, but the delivery feels less human. That tiny punctuation mark changes how the sentiment lands. I am not anti em dash (it is a perfectly valid punctuation mark) but let us be honest, hardly any of us were using it regularly before 2022. Claude, interestingly, rarely uses it. Kudos Anthropic for avoiding em dashes. Another ChatGPT signature I have noticed is the arrow (➜). It existed before AI tools too, but its usage has definitely increased. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝟐𝟒 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐦 𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 (—) 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝. Articles, emails, websites, messages. You will be amazed at how often it appears once you start paying attention. If you spot one in a surprising place, drop a comment. 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 "𝐞𝐦 𝐝𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬" 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝. #AIWriting #ChatGPT #ClaudeAI #AISignals

Lokesh Bathija shared thisAn inspiring story of how startups grow through excellent customer service and genuine trust. It’s rare to see an Indian company get a full mandate to design & build a US office without a single prior project there. That’s the power of well-earned trust.Lokesh Bathija shared thisA few years ago, we stepped into Quantiphi’s early office in Mumbai - a space buzzing with brilliance, where big ideas were being built quietly, powerfully. And yet, something was missing. Their workspace hadn’t yet caught up to the scale of their dreams. One of their founders shared a line we’ll never forget: “We’re solving world-class problems, but our space doesn’t yet reflect the company we’re becoming.” That conversation became the beginning of something greater. Not just a project but a partnership rooted in trust, belief and the shared ambition to build something that endures. We poured ourselves into every inch, more than our hundred percent because when you care deeply, you don’t just design spaces. You craft reflections of identity, of growth, of what’s next. And that's what me, Kunal Sharma Vikash Anand Mrinal Sharma and Ritesh Ranjan did. Mumbai gave way to Bangalore - flexible, forward-looking, quietly brilliant. Innovation rooms, acoustic focus pods, dynamic layouts; every space designed to grow with them. And then, came Boston. A turning point for Quantiphi, it was a statement to the world. For us at Flipspaces, it was a leap across oceans - our first global step, made possible by a client who trusted us to carry their story beyond borders. We brought our sensibilities, soaked in the soul of the city and reimagined what a global office could be - a space where open collaboration meets quiet focus, where ambition feels at home. And to honour that moment, we did something special. We created 200 pebbles, etched with the names of Quantiphi’s first 200 employees - each one a story, a milestone, a foundation. Today, those pebbles sit quietly beneath a glass bridge in their Mumbai office which is a pathway walked every day, a reminder of the people who made the journey possible. That’s what trust does. It invites you in. It lets you contribute to something larger than yourself. And when you give everything - your craft, your heart, your intention - that trust is returned, and it carries you further than you imagined. Today, from Boston to Bangalore, Toronto and beyond, we continue to build spaces with Quantiphi that reflect more than just scale, they reflect soul. As one of their founders beautifully said: “Each new office isn’t just a space, it’s a symbol of how far we’ve come, and how far we dare to go.” To Ritesh Patel, Asif Hasan, Shishir Tiwari, Vivek Khemani, Reghu Hariharan and every person who’s been part of this journey, thank you for your faith, your vision and for letting us walk this path with you. At Flipspaces Design Labs, we don’t just build offices. We build trust. And sometimes, if you’re lucky, that trust takes you global. #Flipspaces #OfficeDesign #GlobalExpansion #WorkspaceInnovation #DesignThatGrows #CorporateDesign #StartupCulture #ScalingRight #Quantiphi #Boston #Toronto #Mumbai #Bangalore

Lokesh Bathija shared thisA Mother, Child and a Realisation It was Saturday afternoon and I was sad because of something that had happened last night. To take my mind off yesterday's incident, I decided to go for my routine visit to a local barber shop. As I was walking down the street, I saw a mother pushing her 15 year old differently abled child on a wheelchair. I looked at the mother and she was smiling, then I looked at the child and he was happy. You could sense the love between them and they were happily going along the road. In that moment something changed for me, all my sorrow just vanished. I felt happy and joyous in the moment. The mother and child made me realise again that happiness lies within us. There are always so many good things in our lives. We become sad when we are unable to focus on these good things. This incident happened more than 12 years back. To this day when I am not feeling good, I remind myself of this instance and it makes me focus back on what is good in my life. Please share your thoughts & anecdotes. #focusonthegood #happinesslieswithin

Lokesh Bathija reacted on thisFive years at Flipspaces today. 🎉 When I joined, I couldn't have imagined how much this journey would change me, not just as a professional, but as a person. From my first role in business development then operations to strategy today, every chapter has stretched me, taught me, and shaped who I've become. And none of it would have been possible without three people I'll always be grateful to: Vikash Anand for seeing potential in me before I saw it myself, and for the trust and quiet guidance that has consistently pushed me to grow. Abhijeet Pawar for teaching me the craft, leading by example, and showing me what it means to build with conviction. Ashish Kumar for the discipline, the clarity, and the steady belief that helped me find my feet through every challenge. Thank you, for the mentorship, the honest conversations, and the faith you placed in me. I've grown under your wings, and I carry a part of each of you in how I show up every day. Here's to everything we've built together, and to everything still ahead. The best is yet to come. 🙏 #5YearsAtFlipspaces #Gratitude #Flipspaces

Lokesh Bathija reacted on thisLokesh Bathija reacted on thisHonored and humbled that our team was recognized with the Innovation of the Year Award at the American Banker Digital Banking Conference 2026. This recognition reflects months of hard work, dedication, and relentless focus on solving complex challenges in counterparty risk management. While a few of us had the privilege of accepting the award on stage, this achievement truly belongs to our global team across regions, functions, and time zones who contributed to making this initiative a success. I was also grateful for the opportunity to participate in a discussion on "Creation vs. Action: Deploying Generative and Agentic AI Safely at Scale." The conversations reinforced how rapidly the industry is evolving from experimentation to production deployment of AI agents. It was particularly insightful to hear perspectives from senior banking leaders and fintech innovators, and to see firsthand how organizations across the financial services ecosystem are building their own agentic capabilities, governance models, and operating frameworks to drive meaningful business outcomes. Thank you to American Banker for the recognition, to my fellow panelists for an engaging discussion, firm leadership and to our global team for their commitment, collaboration, and excellence. #DigitalBanking #Innovation #AgenticAI #GenerativeAI #BankingTechnology #FinancialServices #RiskManagement #CounterpartyRisk #ArtificialIntelligence #Teamwork #Leadership #InnovationOfTheYear

Roll up the token costs across an org and it's catastrophic. The economics flipped. Pre-AI, you built artillery once because it was expensive. Then you scaled by sharing. Made sense. Now? The 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 is almost nothing. Dollars and minutes. The obsession with sharing has 𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬. Everyone's building generic tools for generic problems. Meanwhile the person who can spin up their own custom workflow in 20 minutes is 10𝐱 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 before lunch. The new leverage isn't what you build for others to use. It's 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟. People developing that muscle as second nature will win long term. And honestly... everyone's trying to reduce humans in the loop anyway. Lokesh Bathija liked thisLokesh Bathija liked thisIn a space where execution gaps cost millions, clarity is no longer optional - it’s a competitive advantage. Meeting Alina Chachra Siert someone who’s carving her own space in a male-dominated industry, was a reminder that the most powerful projects start with intent, not just capital. Because beyond IRRs and timelines, the real challenge in the real estate industry is this: How do you make people believe in something that doesn’t exist yet? That’s where everything shifts. At Flipspaces, we’ve been obsessing over this problem: 👉 How do you make investors feel the project before it's built? 👉 How do you replace uncertainty with conviction? Our immersive VR walkthroughs are a step in that direction—turning concepts into experiences, and experiences into decisions. Because ultimately: Investors don’t fund drawings. They fund belief. Our immersive VR + integrated design-build model is enabling: 👉 Faster underwriting decisions 👉 Stronger investor confidence 👉 Reduced pre-construction friction This is especially critical in high-stakes, high-cost markets where delays are expensive and ambiguity is fatal. We’re actively partnering with developers and investors across the Bay Area and NYC who want to move faster and build smarter. If that’s you—let’s connect. Lokesh Bathija liked thisLokesh Bathija liked thisTen years ago, the elevator in your apartment tower at 7 AM had children heading to school. Today it has Labradors and Indies heading to the park. This is not a trend. It is a structural economic event, and almost nobody is pricing in what it means. The numbers: → 31 million pet dogs in India. 43 million by 2026. → Pet care industry at ₹10,000 crore, growing 16-20% CAGR. → $124 million raised by pet startups across 64 rounds between 2022 and 2025. → Drools hit a $1B valuation in May 2025 after Nestlé took a minority stake. India's first pet food unicorn. → Godrej committed ₹500 crore to pet care. Reliance launched Waggies. Mars wants India in its top 5 global markets. When Mars, Nestlé, Reliance, and Godrej all enter a category within 18 months, the smart money is not the first mover. The smart money is asking: what do they all know? India's household structure has quietly re-composed itself. Nuclear households: 37% in 2008 → 74% of urban India by 2022. Single-person households grew 35% in a decade. Marriages later. Kids later, or not at all. The Market Research Society of India has a name for the archetype driving this: DINKWAD. Double Income, No Kids, With A Dog. A Bengaluru couple spends ₹12,000-15,000/month on their Golden Retriever. More than they spend on their own groceries. Pre-portioned cooked chicken in the fridge, labelled by day. Not an outlier. The modal behaviour of urban millennial India in 2026. 70% of Indian pet parents in 2024 are first-time owners. The category is being invented, consumer by consumer, in real time. The dog replacing the joint family is not a metaphor. Joint families gave Indians four things: companionship, emotional support, daily structure, and a sense of being needed. Urban India lost all four simultaneously. A WhatsApp call to parents in another city does not fix 9 PM on a Tuesday. A dog does. Where the real money is being made: 1. Pet food. Drools at $1B. Supertails at $63.8M raised. Only 29% of Indian dog households feed commercial food daily. Every 1% shift = ₹100 crore of category expansion. 2. Pet healthcare & insurance. Less than 1% of Indian pets are insured. UK is at 25%. India has ~4,000 vets for 31 million dogs. Vetic, Dr. Paws, and Supertails are building the Apollo-for-pets playbook. Biggest unclaimed opportunity in the stack. 3. Pet tech. 50 million monthly pet-related Google searches. Wagr built the first indigenous GPS tracker and an AI vet chatbot. The data layer eventually powers insurance underwriting. Titan did this with watches in the 90s. Nykaa did it with beauty in the 2010s. Zomato did it with food delivery. The pet wave is in year 3 of a 15-year run. By 2035, this category could cross ₹1 lakh crore. Larger than India's current organised dairy industry. Who is building this? Full piece on Substack, link in first comment. Has sector maps, funding numbers, and 5 opportunities I'd build around today. #IndianConsumer #Startups #PetCare #ConsumerBrands
