You look familiar. Have we met before?
It’s quite possible. My name is Liz, and I used to have a fashion/style blog named reStyled By Liz. I loved my blog. It was filled with fun & fashion, sarcasm & stilettos, and city streets & looking chic. However, after 6 years, I knew it was time to throw in the Tahari towel and embark on something new.
It took about five years for that something new to come to fruition, but (better late than never) here it is - The Blonde Sophisticate!
Now what is The Blonde Sophisticate, you might ask?
It’s my new publication (newsletter, article, whatever you’d like to call it). It’s taking my love of fashion to a new level and adding in extras such as sage advice (including “How best to emasculate the eye doctor after he has the nerve to say that you need readers now that you’re in your 40’s”) and teaching life lessons (such as “How to master the perfect Ramos Gin Fizz” - kidding of course. I have no idea what the hell that is, but apparently, it’s one of the hardest cocktails to make).
I’m basically taking my background and knowledge as a fashion stylist/merchandiser and offering up styling tips, tricks and current trends to hopefully inspire you to have more fun with your own personal style. I’m sharing my own (okay, more my friends’) hilarious horror stories of being a woman in her (mid) forties and all that entails. I’m offering up beauty tips and trying new products and sharing my reviews - the good, the bad and (hopefully not) the ugly - to help assist you with all your shopping needs. I will also share a few personal stories along the way (I’ve had a hell of a decade, let me tell you!) and I will be adding in some cocktail recipes, albeit more user friendly; however, I must now admit intrigue into this infamous Ramos Gin Fizz.
