Welcome in to The Luncheonette - an online third place, for hospitable times and hospitable people. Channeling the days of neighborhood counters with steaming cups, soul nourishing plates and thoughtful conversations. Between home and work, a word filled spot to engage in dialogue, exchange ideas and find a little humor in a sometimes dark world.

From corner bars to Michelin stars I’ve been working in and around restaurants for three decades - and created a Hospitality Hyphenate™️, portfolio career along the way. After owning a wine bar, in one of the greatest food cities, I hit the reset button by working in hospitality technology, and ended up learning the art of strategic partnerships from one of the largest financial institutions in the world. Today, I take those experiences and apply them for the change I want to see for a stronger, creative working class in the hospitality industry.

Because energy 🔮 So, I’ll be sending stickers to paid subscribers and referrals as a fun, tangible thank you 😎

Members of this community are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect. All of The Luncheonette posts come from the heart, in an effort to bring healthy discussion to an industry that services the world. Our journey here, with these words on the screen are rooted in welcoming hospitable times, for hospitable people.

We do not tolerate racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or ageist language and behavior. We also give everyone the grace to learn, and ask the community to do the same for the writers in this space - because we’re all flawed and hopefully doing our best with the capacity available to us. At the same time, The Luncheonette will remove members and comments that are harmful to our community.
