What is Good Moves?
Good Moves is a newsletter about chess and what it can teach us about performance in all parts of life.
I learn these lessons the hard way, in the trenches of over-the-board (OTB) chess play, and then bring them back to you, the reader, who is safe at home, protected from the brutality and humiliation of getting destroyed by 12-year-olds.
I hope to expand soon to include interviews, videos, and other undeniable content. For now, expect plenty of words, plenty of angst, and plenty of learning.
Who am I?
I am Kevin Lincoln: a documentary filmmaker, writer, book collaborator, and 1652 USCF chess player.
I am on Chess.com. Let’s play!
