Hi! I’m Minaa B., a therapist, the author of Owning Our Struggles, and the creator of The Siblinghood Theory—a relational framework that reveals how your earliest peer relationships continue to shape your adult connections and sense of belonging. I'm also a lover of long walks, good novels, sourdough bread, and spending time in nature. (These simple pleasures keep me grounded in the work I do.)

Growing up as the youngest among 13 siblings in a blended family taught me that sibling dynamics—the competition, roles, and patterns of belonging—extend beyond childhood. They follow us into our friendships, romantic relationships, workplaces, and communities. That lived experience, combined with my clinical work, inspired me to create The Siblinghood Theory and the What’s Your Sibling Blueprint? Quiz.
