Why subscribe?

MKE Meetups is a mailing list for meetups around Milwaukee.

Human contact is important, community is important, and making new friends can be difficult at any age.

Meetups are a great way to invest in all three things at once, in a context that’s less awkward and stressful than many other options, and in a manner that often allows us to simultaneously indulge in beloved or newfound hobbies and pastimes.

Who runs MKE Meetups?

I’m Colin Wright, an author and podcast host. I’ve lived in Riverwest since moving to the state in 2021, and before that I traveled the world full-time, moving to a new country every four months based on the votes of my readers.

You might find me running around the neighborhood, playing D&D (or DCC) with my gaming group, and/or at the Sunday Reading Group I run.
